Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, and restoring function while maximizing each client's capabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the patient's physical condition, using diagnostic tests that measure muscle, joint, and functional capabilities.
  • Oversee and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure adherence to the care plan and appropriate service delivery.
  • Monitor patients' progress, document changes, and communicate effectively with medical staff and family members to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and physical modalities, including manual therapy techniques, traction, and massage, tailored to each client's needs.
  • Evaluate patients' homes and environments to ensure conducive rehabilitation settings and recommend modifications to maximize their independence.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed clinical records, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with relevant legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous education to stay updated with the latest best practices in orthopedic physical therapy, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position focuses on treating a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic conditions affecting mobility. Our therapy programs are specifically designed to address orthopedic issues, providing tailored solutions that promote recovery and enhance quality of life. Qualifications
  • Current Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state license to practice physical therapy in Florida.

  • Proficient in clinical documentation and computer skills necessary for maintaining accurate patient records.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy is preferred but not required.

  • Previous involvement in developing and implementing therapeutic interventions is advantageous.
