New Direction Transportation

We are seeking a Truck Driver Class A CDL to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering freight safely, efficiently and on time. In this vital role, you will be operating a truck equipped with manual transmissions and pulling frameless dump trailers.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer truck with frameless dump trailers
• Load and unload cargo such as rock, gravel, sand and salt
• Properly track and document activity log
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route adjustments, delivery updates and any incidents or issues encountered
• Inspect truck before and after trip

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of previous experience in truck driving 
• Commercial driver's license (Class A)
• Good driving record
• Ability to handle physical workload. Trailer beds must be kept clean and may require shoveling or sweeping to prevent cross contamination of products
• Strong work ethic and communication skills
• Skilled in operating manual transmissions
• Experience with dump trucks or dump trailers preferred
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
