Work Environment

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance while you engage with clients through virtual sessions. Our organization utilizes advanced telehealth technology, ensuring that you can provide quality counseling services from the comfort of your home. You will work from Monday to Friday, specifically between 9 AM and 5 PM, fostering a manageable schedule that respects both your time and that of your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients, identifying their unique mental health challenges and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s goals, ensuring they receive tailored support during therapy sessions.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques to deliver effective sessions that promote healing and growth.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in mental health counseling, integrating best practices into your approach.
• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare professionals to enhance the quality of service provided, sharing insights and strategies to improve patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a wide range of clients from various backgrounds, including individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Our patient population ranges from children and adolescents to adults, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for growth. Your role will revolve around building trusting relationships, providing a safe space for exploration, and encouraging positive mental health practices among clients.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field is mandatory.
• An active and unrestricted mental health license in California (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) is required.
• At least two years of relevant experience in the mental health field, demonstrating competence in therapeutic modalities and client management.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling meaningful connections with clients and colleagues alike.
• The ability to customize treatment strategies to effectively address individual client needs and preferences.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with diverse populations, particularly within community health settings, is highly valued.
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote counseling methodologies will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
