Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Accountant to join our team on a contract basis to support ongoing accounting operations and client-related financial work. This is a hands-on role requiring strong accounting fundamentals and deep experience working within NetSuite. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform day-to-day accounting operations within NetSuite
  • Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
  • Assist with financial cleanup, troubleshooting, and system optimization within NetSuite
  • Maintain and improve accounting processes and system usage best practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client accounting needs and deliverables
  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or process gaps
Qualifications
  • Based in Canada (required)
  • 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite (required)
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
  • CPA designation or in progress
  • Experience supporting multiple clients or working in consulting environments
  • Exposure to multi-entity or complex accounting structures
