Summary:
The Quality Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving the quality management system. They are also responsible for customer satisfaction by driving continuous improvement and production monitoring activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- All ongoing production quality activities
- The development of a strong quality function/team across all shifts
- Driving activities to improve overall production process robustness
- Develop and maintain the company's Quality Management System
- Champion of internal and external audits
- Develop and overall long-term plan for the quality function
- Help drive programs through the APQP, PPAP, and launch process to the successful start of production
- Champion the corrective action system as it relates to customer, audit, internal, and other complaints
- Scrap and Hold Process Management
- Continuous improvement activities
- All other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and hold accountable members of the quality team
Qualifications/Experience/Education:
- Agree to NETFORM Employee Handbook
- Pass Pre-Employment Screening (e.g. drug test, background check)
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
- Strong knowledge of ISO/IATF Requirements
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field OR
- Minimum 5-10+ years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous high-volume automotive and/or manufacturing experience preferred
- 5 years of Quality team leadership experience preferred
