Job description

MyOHR is hiring on behalf of Golden Coast Riders.


We are seeking an experienced Lead Motorcycle Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for advanced diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, and performance upgrades on a wide range of motorcycles while serving as a technical leader within the shop. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working on both European and Japanese motorcycles and is comfortable handling complex engine, electrical, and electronic systems.


The Lead Motorcycle Technician will play a key role in maintaining high service standards, supporting other technicians, and ensuring customers receive quality workmanship and dependable service.


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic motorcycle systems.
  • Perform maintenance services, engine repairs, performance upgrades, and accessory installations.
  • Utilize diagnostic scanners and specialized equipment to accurately identify and resolve issues.
  • Document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and recommendations on repair orders.
  • Conduct quality control and safety inspections before motorcycles are returned to customers.
  • Communicate repair recommendations, timelines, and technical findings to service advisors and management.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other technicians while helping maintain shop productivity and service quality.


Qualifications

  • Advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, including the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex motorcycle systems.
  • Experience utilizing diagnostic scanners and electronic troubleshooting equipment.
  • Experience with motorcycle performance upgrades and aftermarket accessories preferred.
  • Extensive experience working on both European and Japanese motorcycles.
  • Hands-on experience servicing and rebuilding motorcycle suspension systems, including forks and rear shocks from various manufacturers.
  • Knowledge of Ducati desmodromic valve systems preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of professional motorcycle repair experience preferred.
  • Motorcycle technician training, manufacturer certifications, or equivalent industry experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of engine repair, engine performance tuning, four-cylinder engines, and advanced motorcycle systems.


Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.


Schedule: Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
