Work Environment

Our hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a consistent schedule for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial patient assessments to evaluate mobility and functional abilities.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at improving physical function and quality of life.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to facilitate recovery.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to establish treatment goals and provide updates on patient progress.
  • Document detailed records of therapy sessions and patient progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage patients and their families through education about the treatment process and expected outcomes.
  • Foster a supportive atmosphere that motivates patients to remain engaged in their recovery journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center primarily serves individuals recovering from a variety of conditions including post-operative rehabilitation, neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. As a Physical Therapist, you will be instrumental in helping patients at different stages of recovery, encouraging a holistic approach to health that encompasses physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Qualifications
  • New York State Physical Therapist License is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with preference for advanced degrees (Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy).
  • Two years of direct experience in a physical therapy setting, demonstrating proficiency in treatment techniques and patient interaction.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with patient documentation systems and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently as required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
