Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness, located in the vibrant community of Fort Myers, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation center in Fort Myers, which features modern therapy spaces designed for optimal patient engagement and recovery. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and physicians, fostering a collaborative environment dedicated to holistic patient care. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility in shifts, allowing either an 8 AM–4 PM or 9 AM–5 PM schedule, or four 10-hour shifts, to cater to team and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to assess physical capabilities and movement impairments, using standardized assessment tools to guide treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, utilizing a range of modalities including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and neuromuscular re-education to achieve patient goals.
• Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and lifestyle modifications to promote self-management and prevent future injuries.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment strategies that align with our patients’ overall health plans.

The clientele at Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness includes a diverse range of patient demographics, from young athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors rehabilitating after surgery. Our focus is on providing care for individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical needs, ensuring that all patients receive personalized attention and treatment that aligns with their unique health challenges.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid Florida Physical Therapy License or eligibility to obtain one is mandatory.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong interpersonal skills, vital for effective communication with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient setting is preferred. Candidates with experience in specialized areas such as sports rehabilitation or geriatrics are particularly encouraged to apply, as this adds value to our patient care offerings.

Compensation and Benefits

Movement System Physical Therapy & Wellness offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
