Move & Groove Moving Company is a professional moving service based in McKinney and serving the entire DFW metroplex. We focus on clean, efficient, high-quality residential moves with strong communication and positive energy. We’re building something long-term — and we’re looking for the right people to grow with us.

Position Overview

This is an extremely part-time, as-needed position.

We are currently in a slower season, but as we move into late spring and summer, we expect volume to increase.

Because hours are limited, we pay well above the industry standard. We understand that inconsistent hours require strong commitment — and we compensate accordingly.

This role is ideal for someone who:

• Has another primary job but wants strong supplemental income
• Is involved with other “gig” work and has a flexible schedule
• Is reliable and can commit when scheduled
• Wants to work with a growing, professional company
• Takes pride in doing things the right way
  

What We’re Looking For

We need team members who are:

• Reliable and responsive when scheduled
• Physically capable of lifting 75+ lbs repeatedly
• Professional and respectful with customers
• Teachable and coachable
• Calm under pressure
• Detail-oriented and careful with client belongings
• Positive, drama-free, and team-minded

Experience in moving is preferred but not required.
We care more about work ethic, attitude, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload furniture and household goods
• Properly wrap and protect items
• Maintain clean job sites and truck presentation
• Communicate professionally with customers
• Represent Move & Groove Moving Company with integrity

Compensation

Above-industry pay (Starts at $25/hr + tips)
We pay more than typical moving companies because:

• Hours are limited
• We expect commitment when booked
• We expect professionalism
• We expect strong performance

If we schedule you, we need you there — ready to work and ready to represent the brand well.

There is also potential for well-paying long distance moves from time to time. This is not a requirement but definitely a plus for those willing to work these kinds of jobs.

Important Notes

• This is not a guaranteed full-time position
• Jobs are scheduled based on client demand
• Spring and summer will be busier
• Must have reliable transportation
