Position Overview

Motion Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with Motion Rehab & Wellness Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Establishing a trusting and supportive rapport with patients to facilitate open communication.
• Conducting thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders and developing tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitating individual and couples therapy sessions, employing techniques that enhance emotional resilience and communication skills.
• Meeting regularly with patients to monitor their progress, adapting treatment strategies as needed based on their evolving needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to address various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.
• Coordinating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, referring clients to specialists when necessary to enhance holistic treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will predominantly focus on diverse patient populations, including individuals seeking couples therapy, families dealing with relational conflicts, and clients struggling with mental health conditions. Given the nature of our community health clinic, you may encounter patients from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges and requiring a tailored therapeutic approach. You will be playing a critical role in guiding your clients towards healthier relationships and improved mental well-being.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.
• A master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience and training in addiction counseling and mental health interventions.
• Understanding of evidence-based practices for substance abuse and co-occurring disorders.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills with the ability to build rapport and motivate clients towards positive change.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

While specific experience requirements may vary, preference will be given to candidates who have:

• Previous experience working in a community health clinic or similar setting.
• Expertise in a range of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or family systems therapy.
• Experience in digital documentation and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Motion Rehab & Wellness Center offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $140,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
