Motion Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Centreville, Virginia. Work Environment

You will work in a friendly and supportive rehabilitation facility equipped with the latest therapy tools and technologies. The scheduled hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM, allowing a structured work-life balance while supporting our patients' needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough Physical Therapy evaluations for pediatric patients, assessing their abilities and challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at meeting each child’s specific physical rehabilitation goals.
  • Regularly evaluate patient progress by reassessing clinical signs and modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the company’s electronic health record system, including SOAP notes and progress reports.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, recovery expectations, and strategies to manage care at home.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to offer comprehensive care for clients receiving multiple therapeutic services.
  • Act as an ambassador for Motion Physical Therapy, promoting our core values and contributing positively to the company culture.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist at Motion Physical Therapy, you will primarily focus on children of varying ages and backgrounds. You will address a wide spectrum of physical challenges, ensuring that each patient receives care tailored to their unique needs. A strong emphasis will be placed on growth and development, navigating the complexities of rehabilitation for young clients in a supportive environment.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program is required.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
  • Willingness to conduct evaluations and treatments in person and via telehealth, where clinically appropriate.
  • A genuine interest in working with a diverse range of pediatric patients.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, as we operate in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on pediatrics.
  • Experience with electronic medical record systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
