The Class A Hazmat Driver plays a critical role in safely transporting hazardous materials including flammable liquids, corrosive substances, and gases using a standard tractor-trailer. Operating primarily as a solo driver, this position involves regional and long-haul travel to ensure timely delivery while adhering to stringent safety and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Transport hazardous materials such as flammable liquids, corrosives, and gases safely and efficiently
• Operate standard tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
• Comply with all DOT regulations and safety procedures during transportation
• Perform route navigation to optimize delivery times
• Handle emergency response protocols when necessary
• Maintain communication with dispatch and relevant personnel

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in hazardous materials transportation
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
• Hazmat Endorsement (H) required
