The Mold Remediation Technician plays a critical role in restoring residential and commercial properties affected by mold. Reporting to a project manager, this position involves frequent regional travel and requires hands-on expertise in containment, cleaning, and reconstruction processes to ensure safe and effective mold removal. This role offers growth opportunities to senior technician positions and potential advancement into project management.

Responsibilities

• Set up containment areas to prevent cross-contamination
• Clean affected surfaces thoroughly as part of mold removal
• Apply antimicrobial agents to inhibit mold regrowth
• Measure moisture levels to ensure affected areas are dry
• Remove debris resulting from remediation activities
• Rebuild drywall and perform minor repairs post-cleanup

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mold remediation

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in mold remediation
• Knowledge of advanced mold remediation techniques
• Proficient use of moisture meters
• Familiarity with containment procedures
• Experienced in use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Strong attention to detail
