About the Role:

The Glue Press Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining glue press machinery to ensure the efficient and precise bonding of materials. This position requires a keen attention to detail to monitor machine performance, adjust settings, and troubleshoot issues to maintain product quality and consistency. The operator will collaborate closely with production teams to meet daily output targets while adhering to safety and quality standards. This role demands a proactive approach to equipment maintenance and a commitment to continuous improvement in operational processes. Ultimately, the Glue Press Operator ensures that finished products meet strict specifications, contributing directly to the overall success of the manufacturing operation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating industrial machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret production instructions, safety guidelines, and technical documents.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience specifically operating glue press or similar adhesive bonding machinery.
• Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and best practices.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and production tracking.
• Certification in industrial machine operation or maintenance.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor glue press machines according to production specifications and safety guidelines.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure proper adhesion and quality standards are met.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of glue press equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document production data, machine performance, and any incidents or deviations for reporting and quality control purposes.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes and resolve operational challenges.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
