Midagon is a Nordic, independent management and IT consultancy specialising in leading complex transformation projects and programmes. We are now looking for senior Business and Operations Consultants to join our Banking & Insurance practice – supporting clients across Banking, Insurance, Life & Pensions.

You will be based at one of our offices in Stockholm or Örebro, and we offer a hybrid working model. Naturally, some days will be spent on-site with clients.

The Role

As a Business and Operations Consultant, you will drive transformation and development for our clients – either as part of their team or in a leading role. You act as an independent advisor, helping clients translate strategy and target operating models into tangible change. Our assignments typically include:

• Business and operational analysis
• Target operating model development and customer journey design
• Process development and operational efficiency
• Digitalisation, automation and data‑driven development
• Project, programme and transformation management
• Roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Epic Owner, Project Manager or Transformation Lead

You will join a senior team with deep expertise across Banking, Insurance, Life & Pensions, where collaboration, knowledge sharing and professionalism are central to how we work.

We are looking for several profiles – which one are you?

Consultant within Insurance, Life & Pensions

You have many years of experience within the insurance sector and are used to working strategically with business and operational development. You may bring experience in:

• Business analysis, target operating models and process development
• Customer journey design and operational efficiency
• Agile development combined with project and change management
• Data‑driven development, automation and AI‑related initiatives
• Roles such as Business Analyst, Product Owner, Project Manager or Transformation Lead

Consultant within Banking & Payments

You have solid experience from the banking or payments sector and thrive in complex environments where you lead development and change. You may bring experience in:

• Business analysis and process development within payment solutions
• Target operating models and digitalisation
• Agile development combined with traditional project and change management
• Data‑driven development and an interest in AI and automation
• Roles such as Product Manager, Product Owner, Epic Owner, Project Manager or Transformation Lead

We believe that you:

• Have several years of consulting experience within Banking, Insurance, Life & Pensions
• Are confident leading and driving work across different organisational levels
• Communicate clearly and enjoy working close to the client’s business
• Are fluent in both Swedish and English
