Job description

  • Work safely observing all related rules and procedures.
  • Be in your work area by the start of your shift and after breaks.
  • Complete tasks at or above standard rate in Plex to achieve department Contribution Goals.
  • Learn the different machines capabilities and how to operate machinery.
  • Learn our ERP system, Plex.
  • Piercing, staking, roll threading, coining, bending, welding, turning, and among other operations could be necessary achieved skills for work in your specific department
  • Checking parts in process as required and enter results into Plex check sheets located in the Plex Control Panel.
  • Suspect/Defective parts and scrap found lying on the floor must be placed in red scrap containers.
  • Follow Plex check sheet escalation when suspect/defective parts are found during processing.
  • Read and understand work instructions and gage instructions for jobs, tasks, quality checks and operations being performed.
  • Use measurement tools such as, gages, calipers, micrometers, length scales, dial indicators and weight scales to measure and check parts
  • Keep work area clean and organized, use typical cleaning tools (rags, brooms, brushes, dust pans, sweepers, scrapers, trash cans) to clean up work areas.
