Emergency Medicine

Job Summary:

Metropolitan Methodist Hospital is recruiting skilled and dedicated emergency medicine physicians to join our collegial team at Methodist ER - City Base FSED in San Antonio, Texas.
Qualified Candidates:   
  • Must be BC/BE in EM (MD or DO) and EM residency trained
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Expertise in the evaluation and management of acute medical emergencies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with sound judgment and decision-making skills
Incentive/Position Details:
  • 15-18 patients per day
  • 7 exam rooms
  • 24 hours of physician coverage
  • Shifts: 7a-7p and 7p-7a
  • 12 hours of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
  • 1099 position - up to 120 hours available
  • Meditech EMR
Methodist ER - City Base FSED and Methodist Healthcare System:
  • 7 Exam rooms
  • Lab services
  • Imaging (CT, X-Ray, Ultrasound)
