Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position that offers counselors the flexibility to manage their own schedules while working from the comfort of their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ethical and compassionate mental health counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a supportive environment for clients.
• Utilize solution-focused and evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to meet the specific and diverse needs of each client.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that address clients' unique circumstances, experiences, and goals.
• Facilitate discussions that promote self-reflection, insight, and personal growth while guiding clients in establishing healthy coping strategies.
• Continuously monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, making adjustments to treatment approaches as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work predominantly with stable adults who present with low-acuity mental health challenges, such as mild anxiety and stress. Your role will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their daily lives more effectively while fostering resilience and emotional well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field is required.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in California as a mental health therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW).
• Experience or readiness to provide therapy in a remote setting using teletherapy platforms.
• Exceptional communication skills capable of building rapport with clients in a virtual context.
• Commitment to cultural competence and delivering inclusive care to diverse populations.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in remote therapy is highly advantageous as the role focuses on creating a therapeutic relationship in a virtual environment.
• Familiarity with digital counseling tools and platforms that facilitate effective remote therapy sessions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Attractive annual salary ranging from $115,000 to $130,000, commensurate with caseload and experience.
