Role Description The Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Knoxville, TN. This position is responsible for managing customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for residential and commercial clients, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Daily tasks include responding to inquiries, preparing estimates and proposals, scheduling and coordinating tree service work with field crews, and tracking jobs from initial request through completion. The Account Manager will follow up on services provided, address customer concerns, support billing and collections, and help identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals. The role collaborates closely with operations and leadership to maintain accurate records, meet service timelines, and uphold company standards of professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Customer service and relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, listen actively, and resolve issues professionally.
  • Account management and sales skills, such as handling inquiries, preparing estimates, presenting services, and supporting follow-up and retention.
  • Organizational and coordination skills, including scheduling, time management, maintaining accurate records, and managing multiple accounts at once.
  • Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, professional phone and email etiquette, and collaboration with field crews and leadership.
  • Basic business and administrative skills, such as familiarity with office software, CRM or scheduling tools, and support for billing processes.
  • Ability to work on-site in Knoxville, TN, with a reliable work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Experience in tree service, landscaping, construction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in business, sales, or customer service is a plus.
