Your Role

• Troubleshoot system malfunctions
• Balance system settings and perform minimal end user training
• Perform software and firmware updates, create back-up files, system maintenance
• Complete equipment training certifications related to your field
• Seek out opportunities to fulfill clients’ technology needs, even beyond your field of expertise
• Work with sales and administrative teammates to serve our clients well

All required training is paid for and provided to you by MCC.

Essential requirements

• Able to attend training classes, seminars, webinars, etc., including outside regular business hours
• Must have *and maintain* throughout employment
  • Professional appearance and communication skills
  • Clean driving record & ability to be included as authorized driver on company automobile insurance
  • Clean criminal record & drug screening. Memphis Communications Corporation is a Drug Free Workplace.
  • Ability to competently use a smartphone, computer, and/or other technological tools for completion of daily tasks
  • Ability to safely and competently use any required hand tools and/or power tools to complete troubleshooting or installation tasks
• Able to communicate fluently in English
• Able to lift a minimum of 55 pounds
• Able to work a minimum schedule of 08:00 am – 05:00 pm, as well as be willing to travel, including spending several nights in a row out of town
• Have earned a high school diploma or the equivalent
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude (acceptable scores on standardized technical aptitude test(s) provided by MCC)
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience preferred, but not required (willingness to learn is key)
