Job Summary:
Meadow is a modern payments platform for higher education that aims to transform the student financial experience. As a Senior Product Designer, you will partner with other designers, product managers, and engineers to conceptualize and ship products that enhance this experience, using AI tools to inform and iterate on your designs.
Responsibilities:
• Own Product Work End-to-End: You'll work in lockstep with Product and Engineering to define problems, explore solution spaces, validate concepts, and ship product.
• Prototype Using AI Tools: You'll use Cursor and Claude Code to build and iterate on flows and interactions, then partner with Engineering to determine next steps.
• Polish Validated Concepts Using Figma: You'll translate validated concepts into Figma for full state coverage, system alignment, and production readiness.
• Build Meadow's Product Design Practice: We're a small team of builders who thrive on ownership. As our second Product Designer, you'll have the opportunity to help shape Product Design at Meadow from the ground up.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 4+ Years of Experience in Product Design
• Proven Success Owning Projects from Problem Definition → Launch & Iteration
• Proven Success Communicating & Collaborating with Engineering and Product
• Portfolio Showcasing Strong Product Thinking, Interaction Design, and Craft
Preferred:
• Experience at an Early Stage Startup
• Experience in B2B SaaS, FinTech (or Other Systems-Heavy Environments)
• Active Use of AI Tools in Your Design Workflow (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor)
