Work Environment

Located in the heart of West McLean, Virginia, our Rehabilitation Center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to provide a comfortable and effective environment for therapy. You will work a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. Our collaborative work culture emphasizes teamwork, allowing healthcare professionals to share knowledge and provide the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians to assess their physical capabilities and limitations.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs and goals of each patient.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and functional training, to facilitate recovery.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to track patient progress and modify treatment approaches as needed.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their caregivers, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while fostering positive relationships with patients to ensure a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
  • Meet established utilization goals and collaborate with the team to maximize patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this position, you will engage primarily with orthopedic patients, as well as those requiring care for pediatric, neurologic, and sports-related injuries. Your efforts will be directed towards not only alleviating pain but also enhancing mobility and functionality, allowing each patient to return to their normal activities with confidence.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
  • A valid state license in Physical Therapy to practice in Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
  • Proficiency in word processing and electronic medical record systems.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, prior experience in outpatient orthopedic settings or a background in sports medicine will be highly advantageous. We value a candidate who possesses a keen desire to build relationships with patients and the community at large, advocating for their wellness both during and after treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to financial compensation, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
