Private Duty Caregiver

Masonicare at Home

Per Diem/Hourly Personal and Companion Care

Positions are available throughout the state in Connecticut.

Cases available now – Day shift availability – 3hrs – 12hrs

Shifts available from 3hrs to 12hrs/day

It is not required for this role, but Masonicare offers great perks and benefits to its employees – We will pay for your CNA Certification

If you have reliable transportation and are willing to learn, we will train you!

There is no job more meaningful and rewarding than helping someone who cannot help themself. Masonicare at Home is Masonicare's non-medical homecare agency. We are currently hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live-in OR hourly live-out work throughout the state. Our hourly services require a 3 hour minimum. Many of our clients are located in Masonicare facilities throughout the state of CT (Wallingford, Mystic, and Chester – AND COMING SOON Shelton, Farmington, and Newington!!). Community based clients are available as well.

Caregivers assist in a variety of ways to keep clients safe, entertained, and active at home. Duties may include:

  • Conversation and general companionship
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Changing bed and bath linens
  • Laundry
  • Meal Prep
  • Running errands
  • Medication reminders
  • Assist with phone calls, appointment scheduling, mail
  • Recreation: reading, games, crafts, outdoor/indoor walks, etc.
  • Drive or accompany client to appointments: doctor, hair salon, nail salon, etc.
  • Bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care and feeding.
  • Toileting and incontinence Care
  • Assisting with exercises, ambulation and transfer activities

Masonicare is looking for staff with availability to work 12hr shifts, at least 2 per week. Daytime (8a-8p) OR Overnights (8p-8a). Masonicare is looking for staff with DAY SHIFT and WEEKEND DAY SHIFT AVAILABILITY. Per Diem
