Delivery Driver-Job description

Mancini's Bakery is now accepting applications for Independent Contractors or 3rd party contracted delivery drivers.

As a delivery driver you will not only be responsible for safe driving but also must pay close attention to detail (delivering the proper amount of product to each destination/customer) in a timely manner. Delivery drivers will be responsible for verifying shipments and loading and unloading goods to be transported.

As a delivery driver you will be required to have proper communication with central dispatch and customers, proper money-handling skills, a sales mindset, as well as provide exceptional customer service. You must be available and able to work early morning hours, weekends and holidays.

Preferred candidates need to have the following:

• Must own or be willing to purchase personal truck/van for delivery purposes. This doesn't mean a pick up truck or mini-van.
  
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle check.
• Delivery Driver Experience, not door-dash, uber eats, or any other type of delivery service as such.
• Reliable transportation that meets Company standards
• The ability to obtain the appropriate insurance, as required by the contract.
• GPS and Navigation Apps/Tools
