Precision CNC Milling Setup Lead (VF Series)

Imagine this: a rush custom part hits the board. You grab the print, map the GD&T, select tooling, and bring the Haas VF-11 to life. A couple of basic G-code tweaks, careful offsets, and a dry run later, youre cutting clean, holding tolerance, and keeping the shop on schedule. Thats the impact were hiring for.

Where Youll Work

Our small, established job shop in Uniontown, PA supports a wide range of industries. Its fast-moving, priorities change, and quality always matters. This is not an entry-level operator positionits for someone confident setting up, running, and troubleshooting with limited supervision after learning our customers and flow.

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

• Comfortably setting up and operating Haas VF-4 and VF-11 for custom parts and small production runs.
• Reading prints and CAD/CAM outputs, selecting tools, and dialing in offsets to meet tight tolerances.
• Making basic program edits; solving setup, tooling, quality, or machine issues proactively.
• Prioritizing work as jobs shift; maintaining a safe, organized work area.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining, with strong CNC mill setup experience.
• Haas VMC experience strongly preferred; job shop experience strongly preferred.
• Independent worker with excellent blueprint reading and inspection ability.
• Comfort with G-code, offsets, tooling, troubleshooting; CAD/CAM or programming (Fusion 360) a plus.
• Leadership, supervisory, or mentoring exposure a plus.

Schedule & Pay

• First shift: MondayFriday, 6:30/7:00am3:30pm
• Pay: $30$35/hour, DOE
• Overtime: commonly 210 hours most weeks
