We're looking for a reliable Certified Medical Assistant to provide temporary coverage on an acute care line at a busy wellness center in the South Bend, IN area. This role is ideal for a CMA who's comfortable with a varied weekly schedule and can hit the ground running.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus every 5th Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Location: South Bend, IN area (onsite)
• Position Type: Contract, 8/24/2026–11/27/2026 (14 weeks), 36-hour weekly guarantee

What You'll Do

• Cover the acute care line, rooming patients and gathering vital signs
• Perform point-of-care testing as needed
• Send referrals and draw labs as needed
• Support and assist other team members when time allows
• Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring

• Current CMA certification
• Comfort with a varied, non-standard weekly schedule
• Strong clinical fundamentals: vitals, POCT, and lab draws
• A team-oriented, flexible approach
