Job description

Location: Baytown, TX 77523Job Summary

The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating manufacturing equipment used in the production of plastic masterbatch and additive materials. This role supports daily production goals while maintaining quality standards, safety procedures, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate extrusion, blending, mixing, pelletizing, and packaging equipment
  • Monitor machines and adjust settings as needed to maintain product specifications
  • Accurately weigh and load raw materials into production systems
  • Perform routine quality checks during production runs
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas
  • Follow all safety, GMP, and company procedures
  • Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and quality teams
Qualifications
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Willingness to work overtime or rotating shifts if needed
