We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to handle heavy lifting, and experience with various types of delivery vehicles. Position is Driver for M&E Pathways through FedEx Ground.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vehicles of various sizes, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
• Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition and report any maintenance needs.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within the moving or warehouse industry is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Familiarity with operating box trucks and larger delivery vehicles is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
• Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
