At Gradient Financial Group, you’ll play a key role in elevating how our brand, initiatives, and partners are positioned and experienced across media and public channels. In this role, you won’t just manage a program, you’ll drive its voice, visibility, and perception, helping translate meaningful initiatives into compelling stories that strengthen brand reputation and audience engagement. You’ll also lead and grow Gradient Gives Back (GGB), our signature philanthropic program that connects Financial Services Professionals with the communities they serve.
About Us
Gradient Financial Group is a growing financial services organization with twelve specialized entities, including Luson Media, a full-service branding, marketing, and PR firm focused on helping financial services professionals scale through strategy, creativity, and performance-driven marketing.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead media and public relations strategy to elevate brand visibility across earned, owned, and shared channels
  • Develop and execute communication plans that position key initiatives, leaders, and partners in a compelling and newsworthy way
  • Serve as a primary voice for brand storytelling, ensuring consistency across media, content, and public-facing communications
  • Identify and secure media opportunities, including TV segments, interviews, features, and speaking engagements
  • Partner with internal marketing, PR, and content teams to amplify campaigns and initiatives across digital, social, and broadcast channels
  • Shape messaging frameworks that align brand positioning with business goals and audience engagement
  • Oversee the creation of press materials, including press releases, media pitches, talking points, and executive communications
  • Guide Financial Services Professionals in leveraging media opportunities and enhancing their public presence
  • Ensure all communications align with brand standards, compliance requirements, and industry regulations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert for all things Gradient Gives Back (GGB), both internally and externally
  • Plan and execute GGB “reveal” events, ensuring they are not only well-run but also memorable, story-driven, and brand-aligned
What You Bring
  • Experience in public relations, media strategy, communications, or brand marketing
  • Proven ability to develop and place stories across media channels (broadcast, digital, print, social)
  • Strong storytelling and writing skills, with experience crafting messaging for diverse audiences
  • Confidence working with senior leadership and preparing individuals for media and public appearances
  • Experience collaborating across marketing, PR, content, and digital teams
  • Strong understanding of brand positioning, audience engagement, and reputation management
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining strategic focus
Our Benefits
  • Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits
  • 4 weeks of accrued PTO, plus 9 paid holidays
  • Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k)
  • 8 hours of paid volunteer time off (VTO)
  • Ability to work in-office four days per week with one remote workday
  • Ongoing professional development and training
  • A collaborative team that values expertise, initiative, and growth
