The Opportunity

We're seeking a highly analytical and business-minded Director, Financial Planning & Strategic Analysis to join our Finance team.

This highly visible role partners directly with the CFO, Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and our Private Equity sponsor to provide financial planning, executive reporting, strategic analysis, and decision support.

This is an exciting opportunity to influence key business decisions during a period of continued growth and investment. The ideal candidate combines strong FP&A and accounting expertise with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to transform financial data into meaningful business insights.

What You'll Do
  • Partner with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to support strategic financial planning and business decision-making.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and our Private Equity partner.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and executive reporting that measure business performance and key operating metrics.
  • Prepare monthly finance decks, GAAP financial statements, and management reporting packages.
  • Develop quarterly Board presentations and supporting analyses that clearly communicate financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
  • Perform variance analyses, profitability analyses, financial covenant analyses, business scenario plans, lease/buy analyses, and other ad hoc financial modeling to support executive decision-making.
  • Prepare quarterly compliance certificates and support tax-related financial reporting and analysis.
  • Develop recurring reports, including people cost reporting, sales performance reporting, and quota analyses.
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Sales, and Operations to improve financial reporting, enhance business intelligence, and strengthen financial processes.
  • Provide financial leadership on strategic initiatives, including Tableau reporting enhancements, gross margin analytics, refinancing activities, and other corporate initiatives.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership, Board reporting, and Private Equity-backed organizations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sophisticated financial modeling, scenario analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
  • Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools; Tableau experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Why LS Direct?
  • Serve as a trusted financial partner to the CFO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Play a meaningful role in Board reporting and strategic initiatives within a Private Equity-backed organization.
  • Help shape the financial strategy of a growing company investing in next-generation marketing technologies.
  • Join an entrepreneurial, collaborative leadership team where your ideas and insights have a direct impact.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Opportunity to influence the financial direction of a dynamic and growing business.
