With innovative new properties and historic refurbishments, Lotus Hospitality has reshaped Kansas City's downtown corridor, sparking growth and revitalization. As we continue our journey, we're seeking a dedicated Legal Assistant to join our team and support our legal operations.
Position Summary: The Legal Assistant at Lotus Hospitality will support the company's legal team with a range of responsibilities, including document preparation, contract management, and compliance monitoring. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional who can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and agreements for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain and organize legal files, records, and documentation.
• Assist with regulatory compliance filings and monitor relevant deadlines.
• Conduct research on legal issues related to hospitality and real estate.
• Communicate with external legal counsel and coordinate necessary documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling and managing correspondence.
• Track ongoing legal matters and help ensure compliance with company policies.
