Role Description The Volunteer Tutor role is a remote, part-time opportunity focused on providing one-on-one or small-group academic or language support to learners. Day-to-day activities include preparing your own learning materials, conducting online tutoring sessions (in forms you prefer), and adapting explanations to suit different learning styles and levels. Volunteers will communicate regularly with tutees to understand their goals, track progress, and encourage consistent engagement. The role also involves maintaining scheduled sessions, documenting tutoring hours for verification, and collaborating with LockedIn’s platform as needed to ensure a positive learning experience. This position is well-suited for individuals who want to make a meaningful educational impact while maintaining a flexible schedule.

• Ability to explain academic or language concepts clearly and adjust teaching approaches to different learning styles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
