JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Field Engineer position is part of Linkan's 12-18 month Field Engineer Development Program, designed to bridge the gap between engineering theory and real-world water treatment operations. Participants gain hands-on experience operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing industrial water treatment plants before transitioning into an office-based engineering role.
During the program, Field Engineers report to the Operations Team and work primarily as Water Treatment Operators at active project sites. Assignments may include day and night shifts, rotating schedules, frequent travel, and remote project locations.
During slower operating periods, Field Engineers may also support engineering projects, pilot and laboratory testing, data analysis, technical reporting, and commissioning activities.
Program completion is based on demonstrated competency, operational readiness, successful completion of program milestones, and business needs - not time alone. Upon successful completion, participants are expected to transition into an office-based engineering role.
The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.
