Lighthouse Restoration & Construction is a full-service disaster cleanup and property damage restoration company. We specialize in fire, water, wind, mold, and other disaster property recovery services in the Farmingdale, NY area.

Lighthouse Restoration & Construction is privately owned and locally operated in Farmingdale, NY.


We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Restoration Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in restoring properties affected by various types of damage, including water, fire, and asbestos. This position requires a hands-on approach to effectively utilize tools and techniques necessary for restoration while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.


Duties

  • Perform water damage restoration tasks, including extraction, drying, and dehumidification.
  • Execute fire restoration processes, including smoke damage cleanup and structural repairs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various restoration projects.
  • Conduct carpet cleaning and other cleaning services as needed to restore properties to their original condition.
  • Assist in asbestos abatement procedures while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all equipment is properly stored and maintained.
  • Collaborate with team members to assess damage and develop restoration plans tailored to each project.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding the restoration process and any necessary
Requirements:

Experience

  • Previous experience in the restoration industry is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, fire restoration processes, and asbestos abatement practices is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering clean and high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
