Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with internet access. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial virtual assessments using specialized teletherapy software to establish rapport and understand patients’ needs.
• Facilitate one-on-one therapy sessions through secure video conferencing, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored for digital platforms.
• Attend weekly team meetings via conference calls to collaboratively discuss patient progress, treatment plans, and next steps.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through educational opportunities focused on the latest practices in digital mental health services.
• Proactively contribute to team discussions regarding program enhancements and compliance with telemedicine regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma-related disorders. Your ability to connect with clients in an empathetic and understanding manner will play a crucial role in their healing journey. By applying your skills in a remote setting, you will support a geographically diverse client base seeking compassionate mental health counseling.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• An active California license/certification for delivering psychotherapeutic treatment, such as LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a direct counseling role, providing care to individuals experiencing emotional difficulties.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills, particularly when engaging with clients through virtual platforms such as Zoom or Skype.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, candidates who demonstrate strong clinical acumen and a commitment to professional growth are encouraged to apply. Experience with teletherapy modalities or familiarity with digital tools will be advantageous as you adapt traditional treatment methods to virtual environments.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
