Leadenhall Search and Selection are recruiting on behalf of a high-growth management consulting firm that advises senior executives on complex strategic, operational and transformation challenges. The Role:

We are looking for a Managing Director to lead the Minneapolis market, with a strong focus on Energy & Infrastructure, particularly electric and gas utilities.

The MD will be responsible for growing the market, developing senior client relationships, leading teams and ensuring strong commercial and delivery performance.


Key areas of focus include:

  • Developing relationships with senior utility executives and expanding strategic accounts
  • Driving new business, pipeline development and market growth
  • Leading major utility transformation and infrastructure programmes
  • Advising clients across grid modernization, generation, transmission, capital investment and operational transformation
  • Navigating regulated utility environments and complex stakeholder landscapes
  • Building and developing senior consulting talent
  • Taking ownership of market P&L, revenue and margins
  • Providing executive oversight on major client engagements


About You

We are seeking a senior consulting or professional services leader with:

  • 13+ years' experience, ideally within Energy & Infrastructure
  • Deep knowledge of electric and/or gas utilities
  • Established relationships with senior utility decision-makers
  • A strong track record in business development and revenue growth
  • Experience managing P&L and complex client portfolios
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
  • Credibility with senior executives, boards and regulatory stakeholders
