Overview
We are seeking a reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the premises and proper handling of linens, towels, and other laundry items while serving our customers as needs arise. This role is essential in ensuring our customers have a consistent, positive experience with each visit. Previous professional cleaning experience and customer service skills are highly valued.

Duties

• Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and customer clothing
• Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements
• Perform stain removal as needed to maintain high-quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness of the building and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency
• Follow proper handling procedures for delicate or special-care items
• Assist customers with using the equipment and small vending transactions
• Adhere to all safety protocols

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services or housekeeping preferred
• Knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, and folding techniques
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods during shifts
