Job description

We are seeking a Shipping Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will help coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment activities in a metal Fabrication Shop environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
  • Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
  • Arrange appropriate transportation of products
  • Assist customers with shipping inquiries
  • Accurately perform other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Experienced forklift and overhead crane operator
  • 2+ Years Previous experience shipping in a Fabrication environment
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge of computers and data entry
  • Basic knowledge of stainless and carbon sheet/plate
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
