Role and Responsibilities
We're looking for an junior Java developer with Java development experience and similar academic background.
They will be responsible to:

They will be responsible to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
- Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from a reputable university.
- 2-3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer.
- Solid understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Avalid Government of Canada Security Clearance is essential.
- Java Programming Language Proficiency.
- Operating Systems: Windows, macOS, Linux, UNIX.
- Programming Languages: Java, C/C++, Visual Basic.
- Development Tools: Eclipse, Project Builder, CVS, Javadoc, Bugzilla, Ant.
- Concepts and Methodologies: Product development lifecycle, prototyping, design patterns, UML, OOD, OOP.
- Database and Object Persistence: RDBMS, MySQL, SQL, JDBC, LDAP, JNDI, Enterprise Objects Framework, XML.
- Java API/Frameworks: QuickTime for Java, JMF, Applets, AWT/Swing (J2SE), Accessibility.
- E-Learning: AICC, SCORM, LMS, LCMS.
- Media Format Standards: GIF, PNG, JPEG, SVG, WMF, EMF, WAV, SMIL, QuickTime, Windows Media Real, Flash.
- Multimedia Applications: Microsoft PowerPoint, Macromedia Director, and Flash.
