Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physician Assistant at La Verne Medical Urgent Care in La Verne, CA. The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care, which includes performing physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and prescribing medication under supervising physician guidelines. The role also involves patient education, managing treatment plans, and procedures such as laceration repairs, I&Ds.

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing, treating, and managing a variety of urgent and primary care medical conditions
• Proficiency in documenting medical records and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with the healthcare team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Active Physician Assistant license in California and certification by an accredited PA program
• CPR and BLS certification required
• Previous experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care is highly preferred
