Position Responsibilities: Plant Care & Processes: Grow, harvest and produce consistent large volumes of superior quality cannabis cropsIn accordance with our SOPs, follow proper planting and care, growing production processes, and schedules Monitor all aspects of growing including fertilization, watering, muffing, netting, weaving, pruning, topping, trimming, sweeping, and pest inspection as needed to promote optimal plant healthPrepare watering tanks and correctly measure out and calculate nutrient mixturesMonitor inventory of plant nutrients, and disease control chemicalsPerform soil, water and disease tests as neededIdentify, track, and control insects in conjunction with company Integrated Pest Management (IPM) protocolsMove plants in an orderly, time efficient manner from one area of the cultivation facility to anotherMove soil for transplanting plantsTransplant smaller plants into bigger potsAssist in harvesting plants in an orderly time efficient mannerBucking wet or dry plants after harvest Reports and Documentation: Keep detailed notes and assist in operational systems, analyze data to inform operational decisionsMaintain accurate crop activity records and observations, including pesticide applications and growth recordsEnsure accurate documentation of all plant tracking numbers, lot numbers, and all other applicable informationAssist in production planning and provide feedback on growing times with senior cultivators and other personnel Quality Control: Implement our methods and practices to achieve operational improvements in efficiency and qualityDevelop basic knowledge of strain characteristics and identify problems with the plantsPromote a culture of world class performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality Safety and Performance: Responsibility for the performance of the shift, including safety, quality, and productivityMaintain safety programs and other aspects of regulatory complianceMaintain the proper tools and equipment required to perform the job effectively and safely Facility Care and Cleaning:Maintain clean workspaces and production areas to ensure compliance with company quality and sanitation standardsEnsure a clean and safe cultivation facilitySafe disposal of waste Be a Team Player:Exhibit eagerness and passion to develop your knowledgeStay on task and work well with coworkersWork closely with with all team leaders, management, and employeesCommunicate clearly and effectivelyTake direction and follow instructions with enthusiasmWelcome constructive criticism from team leaders to maintain quality standards and production goalsHave accountability, display committed proactive behavior, and strong attention to detailEnjoy a fast-paced environment, with the ability to be flexible and adaptableExhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state Working Environment: Requires agility, physical fitness and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for the proper management of indoor cultivationAbility to work in varying temperatures including high humidity, and tight spacesRequires you have no allergies or sensitivity to cannabis flowerNoise level and working environment can be loud Skills, Experience and Education: Skills, Experience and Education - HS Graduate or DiplomaBasic knowledge of cannabis, however not seeking expertise in the fieldGood math and measuring skills required, including metric systemGardening or agricultural experience helpfulGenuine passion for plants and gardeningAny formal education in agriculture, horticulture, or social science is beneficial Safety knowledge or experience working in a warehouse environment Compliance and Considerations: You are at least 21 years of ageYou have no felony convictions (cannabis convictions exempt)You are willing to participate in a background checkYou are able to work at least one weekend dayYou are able to stand, sit, kneel, reach, bend and lift for extended periodsYou can work on repetitive tasks for extended periods of timeYou are able to lift up to 50 lbs.You are honest, trustworthy and have a strong work ethicYou enjoy a fast paced environmentYou have reliable transportationYou understand we have a zero tolerance discrimination policy Free Covid 19 Antigen and PCR testing available on siteObserve all local and State health and safety guidelinesCovid-19 Vaccine encouraged Additional Information: * Immediate Starts Possible Job Advertisement: 16.00 - 17.00
