Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and dynamic General Manager - Gym to lead our fitness facility with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and drive the overall success of the gym. Duties

  • Lead and manage all aspects of gym operations, including staff supervision, guest services, and facility maintenance
  • Develop and implement operational policies to ensure safety, cleanliness, and efficiency
  • Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth daily transitions and optimal staffing levels
  • Coordinate events management activities such as fitness classes, special promotions, and community engagement initiatives
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including daily reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Prepare detailed reports on operational performance, guest feedback, and staff productivity to inform strategic decisions

Skills

  • Proven leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments such as gyms, restaurants, or resorts
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in event management and coordinating large-scale activities or promotions
  • Ability to write clear reports and maintain accurate documentation of operations and incidents
  • Management expertise with a focus on shift management and staff scheduling
  • Knowledge of hospitality standards and guest services best practices
  • Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting tools
  • Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in a similar setting is highly desirable
