What you’ll do
- Operate extrusion, CNC, and related equipment to hit production goals.
- Set up, run, adjust, and tear down machines per work instructions.
- Perform basic maintenance; care for tools and equipment.
- Validate customer requirements and interpret spec sheets/job instructions.
- Apply micrometers and calipers to verify dimensional accuracy.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean work environment.
- Collaborate across shifts; lend a hand when needed to keep output on track.
- Must be 18+ years old.
Shifts
- First: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Second: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (shift differential)
- Third: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (shift differential)
Qualifications
- High school diploma, with solid math and basic computer skills.
- 1–3 years of machine operation in CNC, machining, or extrusion (required).
- Experience in process-focused manufacturing; wire & cable a plus.
- Required: demonstrated use of micrometers and calipers.
Physical realities
- Work in confined or tight spaces at times; safety and precision are essential.
- Stand up to 80% of the shift.
- Occasional sitting; climbing/balancing; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Move, push, and lift up to 80 lbs.
Communication
Read/interpret safety, operating, and maintenance documents; write routine reports/correspondence; speak effectively with groups. English proficiency (written and verbal) required.
