Job description

Our client is a top-tier litigation firm whose Houston office is a powerhouse in energy and construction disputes, securities litigation, and complex commercial arbitration. The firm has tried dozens of cases to verdict in state and federal courts across Texas and regularly handles eight-figure disputes in international arbitration forums.

As Commercial Litigation Attorney you will manage a dynamic docket of contract disputes, fraud claims, fiduciary duty matters, and energy sector controversies. Responsibilities include all phases of litigation — from initial case assessment and discovery strategy through expert witness management, summary judgment briefing, and trial preparation.

The firm invests heavily in its associates and mid-level attorneys, providing meaningful courtroom and arbitration experience early in their careers.

Requirements
  • JD from a top-tier law school; Texas bar admission required
  • 4–8 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a large or boutique litigation firm
  • Substantial experience with written discovery, depositions, and dispositive motion practice
  • Energy, construction, or securities litigation experience strongly preferred
  • Federal court and arbitration experience a significant plus
