IFS ERP Analyst

Reports To: Director of Enterprise Applications & Business Intelligence
Location: Fort Worth, TX (On-site preferred; remote considered for exceptional candidates)

We are seeking an IFS ERP Analyst to support and enhance our IFS Cloud environment across Finance, Projects, Field Service Management, and operational business functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning enterprise systems deeply, and working directly with business users to improve ERP processes and support operations.

You'll work closely with ERP leadership and business stakeholders while gaining hands-on experience supporting a modern enterprise ERP platform in a fast-paced operational environment.

What You'll DoResponsibilities
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for the IFS Cloud platform.
  • Troubleshoot ERP issues, resolve support tickets, and escalate complex issues with detailed documentation and business context.
  • Support functional configuration and business process activities across:
    • Finance
    • Projects
    • Field Service Management (FSM)
    • HR
  • Maintain and improve ERP documentation including SOPs, training materials, workflows, and knowledge base content.
  • Assist with regression testing, patch validation, and ERP upgrade activities.
  • Manage and update support tickets and backlog items using JIRA and Agile workflows.
  • Support ERP reporting and Power BI data validation efforts.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and ERP governance discussions.
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and change management activities for ERP users.
  • Collaborate with ERP leadership, Finance, Operations, and IT teams to improve system usability and operational processes.
What Success Looks Like
  • ERP support requests are resolved efficiently with strong user communication and documentation.
  • Business users trust the accuracy and reliability of ERP processes and support.
  • Documentation and SOPs continue to improve and reduce recurring support issues.
  • ERP testing and upgrade activities are completed thoroughly and on schedule.
  • Functional ownership and platform knowledge continue to grow across multiple ERP modules.
  • Strong partnerships are built across Finance, Operations, and IT teams.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience supporting ERP systems or enterprise business applications.
  • Experience with IFS ERP or comparable enterprise ERP platforms.
  • Familiarity with ERP workflows across:
    • Finance
    • Projects
    • Field Service
    • Operational support functions
  • Experience using JIRA or similar ticket and backlog management systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to investigate issues, document findings, and communicate effectively with users and technical teams.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience supporting end users in operational or project-based business environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, IT, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with IFS Cloud environments.
  • Exposure to Power BI or ERP reporting environments.
  • Experience within construction, MEP, field service, or project-based industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP upgrade testing and change management processes.
  • Experience creating SOPs, training documentation, or support knowledge bases.
