2026 Sailing Summer Camp Instructor – Key Biscayne Yacht Club

Position: Summer Sailing Instructor
Location: Key Biscayne Yacht Club
Dates: June 8 – August 7, 2026 (Two-week sessions)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:40 AM – 4:30 PM

Overview:
Key Biscayne Yacht Club is seeking enthusiastic and experienced sailing instructors to join our 2026 Summer Sailing Camp team. Instructors will lead daily sailing activities for campers, providing a safe, fun, and educational environment on the water.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach sailing fundamentals to campers of various ages and skill levels.
  • Ensure safety of all campers on and off the water.
  • Supervise and guide campers during on-water activities and shore-based instruction.
  • Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and general program operations.
  • Collaborate with fellow instructors and Head Instructor to deliver a high-quality camp experience.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • Sailing experience required.
  • Certifications: US Sailing Level 1, SafeSport, CPR, and valid Boater’s License.
  • Ability to work outdoors full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:40 AM – 4:30 PM.
  • Flexibility: Being hired for a position does not guarantee every session; schedule may vary.
