Job description
Kennebec Behavioral Health is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Child Psychiatrist to join our Medication Services team. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and treatment planning for clients across our service area. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in support of KBH’s mission to deliver high-quality, accessible mental health care to the community. This position is primarily in-office and requires face-to-face patient care. Salary is negotiable, and we offer a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

You would be joining a group of five Child/Adolescent Psychiatrists and PMHNPs, who provide our Child/Adolescent Medication Clinic services. Your primary responsibilities will be providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management and evidence-based treatment recommendations.
Qualifications:MD or DO from an accredited medical school and completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program. Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN). Current license to practice medicine in the State of Maine. Eligibility for reimbursement through Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care organizations.
