Job Title: Patient Educator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and articulate Patient Educator to be the trusted first point of contact for our patients. This vital role involves guiding prospective patients through our services, ensuring they feel understood and confident while acting as the seamless connection between them and our clinical team.

This role is:

  • Hybrid In-Office/WFH; working from our Kimberly location when in office
  • Hourly base plus commission potential
  • Full time, benefit eligible (Health, vision, dental, 401k, etc.)

Position Summary

The Patient Educator is the crucial first point of contact for our prospective patients. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly guiding individuals through our services, providing them with the essential information they need to make confident decisions. Your ultimate goal is to build immediate rapport and successfully schedule patients for their initial consultations, setting the stage for an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Engagement & Education:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound inquiries, managing a multi-line phone system with a warm, professional, and articulate demeanor.
    • Quickly build rapport with prospective patients, assess their needs, and educate them on the procedures, treatments, and eligibility requirements.
    • Conduct confident and proactive outbound calls and follow-ups to engage prospective patients and guide them toward scheduling a consultation.
  • Administrative Excellence:

    • Meticulously enter and manage patient data across multiple platforms, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and consistency.
    • Maintain detailed and organized records of all patient communications, including calls, emails, and follow-up activities.
    • Master all established protocols for patient communication and scheduling, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
  • Team Collaboration & Growth:

    • Work collaboratively with the management team and Patient Care Consultant team, communicating any key patient information or urgent matters that require attention.
    • Actively participate in staff meetings and training sessions to maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of all our services.
    • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team's success.

    Skills & Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in a patient-facing or consultative role (experience in a medical, wellness, or aesthetic setting is highly preferred).
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to build rapport and trust.
    • Strong organizational abilities and proficiency with appointment scheduling software.
    • A genuine sense of empathy and a passion for providing outstanding patient care.

    Required Skills:

    • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma.
    • 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, customer-facing role such as a call center, patient services, or inside sales.
    • High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to learn new scheduling software quickly.

    Preferred Skills:

    • Experience in a medical, aesthetic, or cosmetic industry setting (Strongly Preferred).
    • Previous experience in a consultative sales role.
