Whether you're an experienced Plant Manager or a Supervisor or Assistant Manager ready to take the next step, we're looking for individuals with strong grain and pulse processing experience who are passionate about operational excellence. Plant Manager – Key DetailsCompetitive salaryFull-time, permanent positionLocation: North Battleford, SKBenefits and Paid vacation Plant Manager – ResponsibilitiesOversee daily plant operations including receiving, cleaning, grading, sizing, splitting, loading/unloading, and storage activitiesOperate and supervise processing equipment including cleaners, gravity tables, de-stoners, indents, and color sortersMonitor grain and pulse grading standards and ensure product quality specifications are consistently metLead and supervise plant staff (up to approximately 15 employees), ensuring productivity, safety, and operational efficiencyCoordinate production schedules and prioritize workflow to meet customer and operational requirementsSupport maintenance activities and troubleshoot operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain equipment reliabilityMaintain food safety, quality, and workplace safety standards throughout plant operationsTrack plant performance and contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiativesEnsure accurate documentation, reporting, and computer-based tracking related to production and operationsFoster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment Plant Manager – QualificationsApproximately 5+ years of progressive experience within grain or pulse processing operations (e.g. Plant Operator, Lead Hand, Supervisor, Assistant Plant Manager, or Plant Manager)Experience operating and supervising pulse/grain processing equipment such as cleaners, gravity tables, de-stoners, indents, and color sortersGrain and/or pulse grading experiencePrevious experience leading or supervising employees within a grain, pulse, agricultural commodities, or food processing environmentStrong understanding of grain and pulse processing operations, product flow, quality standards, and plant operationsWorking knowledge of maintenance coordination and equipment troubleshootingStrong communication, organizational, and computer skillsKnowledge of workplace safety practices and food safety standards This role is ideal for someone who has progressed through grain or pulse processing operations into a leadership position. Interested in joining the Team?
