Job Summary:

We are a high volume restaurant serving American Cusinie. We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food items in accordance with the menu and recipes provided, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to customers. This is a full time position (approx 35-40 hrs) including nights and weekends. We are a small kitchen and team and you may also need to work 1 pantry shift a week.

Nights and Weekends are a must. You must be able to work until 10:30/11 PM

Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Cook and plate menu items accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements:
- At least one year experience as a line cook

- Be able to lift at least 40 lbs

- Reliable transportation

- Must be able to cook burgers and meats to specific temperatures

- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures

- Understanding of food safety practices

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork skills
